Together with my good friend and designer Jeroen van den Bogaert I was able to create these
two 54”x72” (137cm x 183cm) rug pieces. My work is based on a larger graffiti mural I created in
collaboration with La Cassetteas a marketing project. It is a two piece work about the philosophy of graffiti.
When is it vandalism or art and when is it being appreciated by the general public. The text is written with solidified
paint in a marker form. These types of markers are normally used on construction sites since they write on any
surface in any types of conditions.The reason I chose this object is that it is one of the most used writing tools
within the graffiti culture.
